The Fat Hen barn and dining room can be hired for a lunch or supper event for up to 20 people. We can offer a variety of menus showcasing Cornish wild and local produce.
It is a relaxed and laid back affair; you will get a chance to see and hear about all the wild ingredients used in the meal, with an optional cooking demonstration given and opportunities to try and taste all manner of wild concoctions.
We can cater for all diets and all occasions. Menu options can be discussed contact us if you have any special dietary requirements.

You get to choose from a straightforward lunch or dinner with optional extras which include:
- A guided foraging walk prior to lunch or dinner
- Aperitifs on arrival ( e.g: blackberry & rose bellini, elderflower moxitos, muddled brambles)
- Cookery demonstration
- Use of the space for a meeting afterwards. We have a projector and film screen which can be used for presentations, films and slideshows.
We aim to source as many of our ingredients as possible from the wild, foraged by Caroline, or from local growers and local food providers. We get our fish, shellfish and game direct from the source from local fishermen and hunters to ensure we have the freshest best quality ingredients.
