Just Forage

April 22, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

£40

COURSE OUTLINE:
This event is for people who wish to learn about our wild edible plants in West Cornwall without the ‘hands-on’ cookery. Guided foraging walks are led by Caroline at various locations in West Cornwall. Walks can also be organised further afield on request. Caroline will teach you how to forage safely and legally. She will cover some plant identification tips, indicate poisonous lookalikes as they arise and will give you reams of recipe ideas. Caroline will share some top chefs’ tips for incorporating these ingredients into your cooking. The wild food walks include some wildlife commentary as well as historical and medicinal anecdotes about the plants and landscapes we see. Wild refreshments and tasters will be provided on this event.
